The only other suit in creation that can swim, run, cycle—not to mention fly—is a superhero suit. That is, until the TYR Men's Competitor Front Zipper Tri Suit was created. Designed specifically for unequivocal performance regardless of what triathlon leg you're on, the Competitor features an adaptive design that functions like three separate suits in one, simple, and anatomic design The Competitor's anatomic design is based on a nylon and spandex construction—these materials combined provide a supportive structure and four-way stretch to guarantee freedom of movement in each discipline. The blend moves moisture away from the skin to the quick-drying surface of the fabric, subsequently keeping you dry and comfortable—regardless of the transitions or what leg you're on. In regards to the fit, TYR designed the Competitor Tri Suit for competitors, which translates directly into an endurance-ready design. Additionally, it features a silicone beaded leg hem, knee-length lowers, and inset armholes that allow a non-pinching motion of the arms during the run and swim. As a result of these features, the suit touts more surface coverage, resulting in an increase in both gentle compression and resistance to wetsuit chafing. And to offer some semblance of comfort throughout those exhaustive, pedal-to-the-metal moments, TYR included its the Competitor AMP chamois. This insert features a minimalist construction, which in turn provides just-enough support for the bike leg without obstructing comfort in either the swim or run. And because of the swim, TYR also designed the Competitor to be water-resistant and quick-drying. So, you won't be racing soggy after T1.
